The Time is Now.
The Time has come. It hasn’t been. It’s not waiting for you to be ready. The word of God is alive, it’s moving right here in the present.
Stop living in the past or wishing for the future - what are you doing with what you have right now?!
Do you know how many times I’ve read an old blog or Instagram post and just wished I could write something as good as that again?
BUT in that very instance God will say ‘Do you think I’m done? Do you think I’ve run out of ideas? Don’t you know that I am going to take you from glory to glory?’
God doesn’t call us to replicate the old, he says:
'But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?'
Isaiah 43:18-19
There is no formula, forecast or strategy we can come up with to determine how God is going to move.
We need to stop wasting the present trying to plan for the next when God has given us the NOW.
Stop putting timelines or deadlines on God’s promises. It’s not over until God says it’s over.
In the same way God never needed you to be a certain age, have a certain education or qualification to use you.
These are not what will warrant your readiness. God’s not looking at your natural ability but your supernatural capacity!
God wants to use you NOW! Maybe not in the way you had planned or you may not feel the least bit prepared. BUT what you do with the present, will speak of what God can trust you with in the future!
'But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.'
James 1:22
Not every word is just for the future. Yes, God wants us to declare and pray over what's coming but he also wants us to prophesy over the present! AND start walking in it.
Do you know how often I just want to 'sit on' a blog post for a while before I share it? Of course I want to make sure it's good and thought out but my desire to be prepared or for it to be perfect shouldn’t get in the way of God’s plan for it.
Often God will just say, even the very next day, 'Ok now is the time to share it!'. Because this is the word for right now. This is what he wants to say right in this moment. So I just need to obey.
It’s difficult though when we are so consumed by what has gone or what is coming. But we need to make the choice to put our faith into action in the day-to-day.
'Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow.'
Matthew 6:34 (MSG)
God has already got everything in the future organised, so it’s about time we stopped trying to do God’s job and instead do the assignment God has given us.
It doesn’t matter if you feel like you’re in a prison, the time has come to PRAISE!! You may feel empty and exhausted but it’s time to start gathering those empty jars and getting ready for God to fill them!
You may feel like you’ve been walking in circles but this time God wants to bring the walls down and for you to walk into your inheritance.
The time is now. It’s here. It’s brimming with potential. Claim it friends.
